“Although a bit wanting in the execution, this is my favorite scheme. It presents the problem brilliantly and responds with a clear polemic that is hard to dispute. Again, pedestrian bridges — or any elevated ground planes for walking — are not a successful model (the High Line is a fluke), but I love the sensibility and modesty of the propsal. And the graphics are smashing. This effort deserves celebration for its counterintuitive and iconoclastic simplicity.“

“The suggested zones for the “urban loop” are very accurate, thoughtful, and detailed. I specifically like the details that are proposed for the area of zones and their interconnections. Furthermore, the design considerations for increasing the accessibility of residents to different facilities in less than 15 minutes and by using bicycles and by walking are wonderful.“

“It is not clear how the game works, but I like the intentions, and representation is brilliant. Unlike many schemes, this one presents an incremental urbanism that seems achievable and positive. I don’t understand how the analysis of social class informs the plan in a meaningful way, but the observations are welcome.”
